At DAV, kindergarten classes lay the foundation for a child’s interest in the Hindi language. Ages 4-6 are a critical period for brain development. Engaging activities during sessions conducted by DAV stimulate curiosity and interest in a language and culture. DAV recognizes that young children may have different needs and ways of learning. Our specialised teachers utilise a diverse curriculum including play-based learning, story-telling, songs, drama and hands-on experiential activities to develop interest and basic understanding of both spoken and written Hindi. To facilitate ease of access to these classes, kindergarten centres have been established across the island, see below.
Parents also have the option to enrol their children in the ‘Sparkling Stars Programme‘ with Allied DAV Teachers conducting classes in their neighbourhood.
